Mechelle McCain is an actress, producer, philanthropist and mother.
As a rising ingénue, the Houston native began acting alongside A-listers, including Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. and multiple Grammy winner Beyoncé in the film, “The Fighting Temptations,” as well as Kevin Hart in “35 & Ticking;” along with guest appearances on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The Game,” “Love That Girl” and “Survivors Remorse. She started writing, producing and starring in her own short films, including “The Hoodling,” “Basketball Wives The Movie,” Misadventures of a Hollywoood Housewife” and #Instacouple.
As a philanthropist, McCain founded her non-profit organization—Kids Love and Health Foundation—dedicated to teaching health and wellness to the youth. She strives to give underprivileged youth opportunities to succeed and live a healthier lifestyle through a variety of programs within her organization.
